Like most companies, we started life as a one-man band. David Fleming set out in 2006 with a van, a Gas Safe card, and a very simple belief: that gas engineering should be done properly, explained honestly, and charged fairly. Eighteen years later, not much about that has changed — except the size of the team.
We've grown steadily by doing good work and letting that speak for itself. No hard sell. No jargon. No sending someone out just to charge a call-out fee. We hire people who love what they do and treat every job as if it's their own home — and we think that shows.
Started as a sole trader serving the N4 and surrounding North London postcodes. One van, one engineer, one mantra: "We Can Do That."
Growing demand led to formal incorporation. Company number 6472503. The team grew to cover a wider range of services and postcodes.
Expanding into commercial premises, managed portfolios and landlord compliance — with SafeContractor accreditation achieved.
All engineers DBS checked (Enhanced DBS for school and education contracts), extending our work into schools and education facilities.

Alan coordinates engineer schedules, job allocation and the day-to-day logistics that keep everything moving. If you're waiting on an appointment, Alan can usually tell you exactly where things stand.
Louise works alongside Alan in planning — handling bookings, customer communications and keeping the schedule tight. She's usually the voice on the end of the phone when you call the office.
Booking in, planning and super prepping work for specialist contracts - Our Sarah may be part time; but she's got full time commitment to getting the job done and slots filled.
Susan keeps the financial side of N4 Gas running smoothly — invoices, accounts, and making sure everything is in order. Invoice queries? Susan is your first call.
18 years ago David started N4 Gas with a single van and a straightforward belief that gas work should be done properly. He still believes that — and still keeps a close eye on every job that leaves the yard.
Dan does whatever needs doing — From compliance to customer support with some logistics, engineer's assistant and controls consultant. This man wears a lot of hats.
The original pair of hands. David Snr brings decades of installation experience to every project — there isn't a boiler, system or configuration he hasn't seen.
Chris is one of our most experienced engineers — a go-to for complex faults, unusual systems and commercial work. If a job stumps anyone else, it usually gets to Chris.
Dan is a versatile engineer covering the full range of domestic and commercial work — always dependable and always gets the job done properly.
James handles a wide range of domestic repairs, servicing and installations across North London. Known for his friendly demeaner and leaving a tidy job.
Don's the caring voice in troubled times. Clean and concise workmanship with a passion for the best service provision out there.
Charlie is one of our frontline domestic engineers — servicing, repairs and installations across the patch. Clients like Charlie because he explains things clearly.
Calum is our youngest engineer and was trained by us (Did you know that he won the young apprentice of the year award?) - Amazing talent and proud to have him.
Jack is our apprentice — learning the trade from the ground up alongside our experienced engineers. The future of the team. He may be green, but he's very keen.
